19 June: Kellands Pond, Twizel (above). Dark clouds approach from the west bringing rain.
I always take this scene when I’m at the ponds through all the seasons. What you can’t hear is the crackling above me as the electricity passes along the wires. Today I also had to put up with great lines of ice dropping off them & onto me!
21 June: Two Thumb Range and Round Hill Ski Field on opening day (the stripes down the … round hill).
21 June: Lake McGregor, Tekapo.
25 June: Lake Aviemore with the Benmore Dam spillway at the back right.
