I wanted to share some photos from my travels around the South Island last winter. I do love the winter down here, with lack of crowds and the snow on the mountains being two of my favourite things.

Twizel hoar frost. I was staying at the Lake Ruataniwha Camp but there is also a lovely freedom camp nearby. It was good to be on power in these temperatures.
