CAMPING THE KIWI WAY

Secured a magical spot beside the lakes edge at Kingston freedom camp and went fishing. Caught no fish, but enjoyed the serenity.

The camp has a slight slope as it is at the base of the mountains, and there are plenty of shady trees. Traffic going to Queenstown was only a murmur on the nearby road. 

Vehicles must be self-contained if sleeping over (arrive early as it's a popular spot). Day trippers have use of everything, including the new loos. Q’town Lakes.
