We had a great stay at Tokomaru Bay

Our camp was right on the beach looking directly out to where the sun would rise.
So many cool old buildings and structures. Reminders of its busy past. It was great exploring all the old ruins and I was lucky to be allowed to photograph an old abandoned house just behind our camp.
Of course the East Cape sunrises didn’t disappoint either.
